We are only one week away from the debut of Dr. Guy’s latest project, The Poets & A Song, which will take New York’s legendary Blue Note stage in seven short days. Tickets Now On Sale!
Doors open on Monday evening at 9:45 PM, with the show beginning at 10:30 PM. Guests can purchase tickets at the Blue Note for bar access or they can reserve table seating in advance. Tickets cost $10 ($15 day-of-show) and can be purchased HERE.
The Debut of B Eclectic
MusiQology’s Bridget Ramsey has been hard at work on a release of contemporary originals and covers that fuse jazz, R&B, and more. The product of her hard work, B Eclectic, debuts at the Blue Note, with physical CDs on sale during the event. For a sneak peek of a classic favorite, CLICK HERE.
MusiQology Adds Tulani Kinard
Joining MusiQology for the first time on Monday is vocalist Tulani Kinard. Kinard is an accomplished singer who is most well-known as an important member of the African American a cappella performance ensemble, Sweet Honey in the Rock.
Special Guests Galore!
So who, exactly, are these poets? MusiQology is proud to announce special guest poets Christian Campbell and Hettie Jones, both of whom will be performing poetry accompanied by Dr. Guy’s MusiQology band. Christian Campbell is an accomplished scholar and poet who teaches in the English Department of the University of Toronto. Hettie Jones needs no introduction — she is an acclaimed author, poet, and important cultural voice known the world over.
