Recently at the Contemporary Art Museum of Houston, Musiqology Advisory Board member, Regina N. Bradley (@redclayscholar), explored how the work of Atlanta hip hop duo OutKast grounds how she theorizes the hip hop South. Bradley discussed the group’s use of time and space within their storytelling, and how it carves out a unique framework for understanding Southern black identity in the post-Civil Rights South.
