T-Pain shocks the internet when he dropped his episode of NPR’s celebrated Tiny Desk Concert Series. T-Pain, real name Faheem Rasheed Najm, was the king of auto-tuned singing throughout the early 2000s. He created multiple hits for himself and artists including, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, and Akon. But his success came to an abrupt end when Jay-Z released his 2009 single, “D.O.A.” (Death of Autotune).
